My Story

Thank you for visiting our team sponsorship page for our epic Go Six Nations challenge. 

If you are sponsoring a particular member of our team, please mention their name in the comments. 

Together our MS team will travel 1,188 miles between the Italian rugby home of Stadio Olimpico and our Centre at Reading between 25 February and 18 March. Our goal is to show the world that MS will not stop us and to raise as much money as possible to help the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre provide physiotherapy and exercise classes for local people with Multiple Sclerosis. 

The challenge may sound simple enough but when you have MS, nothing is that simple. It will involve all our team pushing ourselves hard but we are doing it for a really important reason: to support our Berkshire MS Therapy Centre.

The money we raise will go towards physiotherapy and exercise classes. These are not typical sessions, they are completely tailored for the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis.

The local MS community relies on the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre to provide ongoing, tailored exercise. In 2022 the Centre provided over 6,737 sessions helping people like me to stay active. The Centre spends over £4,500 every week to provide this vital support.

With no funding for the NHS, the Centre relies on fundraising and donations to ensure they can continue to fund these services.

Times are tough for everyone. The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre is not immune to this. Their costs are increasing and fundraising is getting more difficult. A donation of any size will make a big difference and change lives.

We really appreciate your support. It will help motivate us to reach our target and will make a massive difference to local people with MS.
